Community-based jail, prison, and post-incarceration reentry programs and resources

Need to find community resources to assist with reentry after prison ( "reentry programs" )? Looking for housing options, mental health services or treatment programs, social services, family support, and contact info for self-help groups?  Don't know where to look for such information?

We can help.  Contact us.

When you contact us, provide the following:

1) The name of the city and state where you'll be going when you get released (or got released to).

2) A bit of info about you - gender, what types of services you'll need, etc.  Some programs and services are only available to either men or women (half-way houses, for example).  Some programs get specific funding to provide services to people coming out of either federal or state institutions.

When we hear from you, we will reply to you within one week with information about any relevant services in the city where you'll be going.

* NC4RSO National Reentry Resource Database *

Our reentry resource service has traditionally been a "contact us" resource (see above).  We hope to one day have an online resource database searchable by state that will be fully searchable by various criteria (location, type of service, etc.) and regularly updated.  A one-stop listing of reentry programs.  Until such a database becomes available with us, continue using the contact info above or review the partial list of resources listed below (the list of resources remains under development).

NOTE: These are links to third-party websites.  We review links periodically to check for updates.  In the event that any websites listed here are taken down between our updates, please excuse any broken links.
